Built by a Family Who's Been Exactly Where You Are

This isn't just business for us. It's personal. Years ago, before we started Mastercraft, we experienced our own roof leak in a home right here in Scottsdale. It was stressful and unnerving, and it's the reason this company exists.

As a local, family-owned roofing contractor operating under Arizona ROC License #361656, we don't believe in corporate shortcuts or high pressure sales tactics. From our family to yours, we are dedicated to keeping your Scottsdale home safe and dry, especially when something goes wrong.

Why Scottsdale Roofs Fail When Storms Hit

Every part of Scottsdale has its own architecture, and its own vulnerabilities when a storm hits. Many custom and semi custom tile roofs in communities like Grayhawk and DC Ranch are hitting the 15 to 20 year mark, and after years of Arizona's brutal summers, standard underlayment becomes brittle and cracks. In North Scottsdale, complex roof pitches and heavy concrete or clay tile mean water has plenty of places to find a shortcut if flashing wasn't installed correctly. And across Central Scottsdale and the Airpark area, low slope and foam roofs take a beating from relentless UV exposure, which can lead to seam separation and leaks. When a monsoon microburst or winter storm hits, these weak points are exactly where water gets in.

Our Process
What Happens When You Call
Check for an Active Leak
We're not structural engineers or interior contractors, but here's what matters first. A stain doesn't always mean an active leak. If you have a moisture meter, test the area. Wet means it's active. Dry means it's likely an old mark from a past storm.
We Find and Stop the Source
We get out there fast, find where water is entering, and repair or secure it from the outside. We're roofers, not drywallers, so we stay in our lane and won't pad your bill with interior work that isn't ours to do.
We Connect You to Trusted Help
Once the water's stopped outside, timing matters inside. We can point you toward a trusted local water damage professional for structural drying and interior remediation, no runaround finding someone yourself.

Emergency Roof Repair Services We Provide in Scottsdale

When water is coming into your home, you need someone who can find the source fast and stop it before it spreads. Mastercraft responds quickly across Scottsdale, from DC Ranch and Grayhawk to Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale, to secure your roof and protect what's inside.

Scottsdale Emergency Leak Repair

We locate the exact point where water is entering, whether it's a cracked tile, failed flashing, or underlayment that's finally given out after years of Arizona heat. We secure the area and stop the leak from the outside so the damage doesn't get worse while you wait. If your roof needs more than a temporary fix, we'll walk you through what a full roof repair involves and what it costs.

Storm and Wind Damage Repair

Monsoon winds lift tiles, tear flashing, and drive rain into places it was never meant to go. After a storm, we assess what actually failed, repair or replace damaged materials, and make sure your roof is sealed and ready for the next one.

Why Timing Matters

0–24
hrs
Materials Get Saturated
Insulation, drywall, and wood framing begin absorbing water immediately. The longer materials stay wet, the harder they are to fully dry out and save.
24–48
hrs
Contamination Risk Increases
Trapped moisture inside walls and ceilings creates the kind of warm, damp environment where bacteria and other contaminants can begin to take hold, especially if the water source wasn't clean to begin with.
48+
hrs
Structural and Air Quality Impact
Materials can start to warp or delaminate, and airborne contamination becomes more likely, which is when indoor air quality really starts to become a concern.

Emergency Roof Repair FAQs

Does homeowners insurance cover roof leaks in Scottsdale?

Insurance typically covers sudden storm damage, like a monsoon microburst lifting tiles or a branch coming through your roof. It usually does not cover leaks caused by old underlayment that's simply worn out over time. An inspection gives you clear facts about which one you're dealing with before you ever call an adjuster.

What should I do immediately if my ceiling is leaking during a storm?

Move furniture, electronics, and rugs away from the water first. Put a bucket under the drip and a towel down for splashing. Once the inside is under control, call or text Jeff directly at 480-407-6000 and we'll get out there to secure things from the outside as soon as it's safe.

Do I need emergency roof tarping right away?

If water is actively coming in during a storm, stopping that entry point comes first. When Jeff gets there, he'll evaluate whether temporary stabilization or tarping is needed to prevent things from getting worse while you plan the permanent fix.
